Beavers are our youngest members, our Beavers meet on a Friday from 5.30pm - 6.30pm and young people between 6 & 8 years old are welcome to attend.
Young people are able to register to have their name added to the waiting list from 5 years, giving our group the opportunity to try to accommodate as many joining requests possible.
Notes:
Meetings will be in St John's Colinton Mains Church, a Google Maps link can be found on the website home page.
The meetings will start at 5.30pm sharp with access to the hall from 5.25pm Meetings will end at 6.15pm
The arrangements for dropping off the beavers are:
The Church building doors will be opened at 5.25pm and Beavers should head directly into the hall and hand sanitiser on the way in and way out.
Leaders will open the doors at 6.15pm and make sure the Beavers parents are there before they leave the building.

Uniform consists of:
Turquoise Polo T-shirt
Turquoise Sweatshirt
Group Necker and a woggle in the colour of their Lodge

£30 per term - Jan, April and Sept
Badge location:
All other uniform can be purchased from the online Scout Shop either or in person from the Scout Shop. Our Scout neckie can be bought from the leaders at £5.00, badges will be provided at investiture.
Beavers are regularly issued with badges to recognise their achievements. It would be appreciated if these could be sewn onto uniforms to ensure that the incentive and sense of achievement gained from earning these badges is maintained.
Investitures:
Beavers will be invested after they have attended 4 or 5 meetings when they will say the Beaver Scout Promise and receive their section badges.
The Beaver Scout promise should be learnt by new Beavers, however they will repeat it after a leader during the investiture.
